Hi, I have come to believe that the firmament is a shield of water, very dense and is controlled by our God in Heaven. It's merely a theory because when I read about it, it's a divide of water between the waters and the water. The reason NASA is so heavily guarding Antarctica is because they think they can break through it. There may be another reason to lie about the earth being a globe. It's a stage to give common people hope that we can leave the earth and obtain some other planet to inhabit. But the truth is, we're trapped here. God did not make it so we could leave His creation. We came from the dirt and back to the dirt we shall go. Off topic but have you noticed people are not tolerant of each other as much as before. Everyone is getting more and more angry toward each other. The bible states that Brother will hate his brother and sister against sister. It's not just the world and it's sinners; it's the Christians as well.
